Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. The PRC and domicile information must match the state or UT in which the position is available.
Age restriction: 18 to 23 as of January 1, 2023. In the normal course of events, candidates should not have been born sooner than 02-01-2000 or later than 01-01-2005.
Age Relaxation: The following categories are eligible for permissible age relaxations:
#ST/SC: 5 years
#OBC: 3 years
Note: As a one-time measure for this recruitment, the Government has decided to offer three (03) years of age relaxation beyond the appropriate prescribed
upper age limit for all categories of candidates due to the unprecedented “Covid Pandemic.”
Educational Background: The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Exam from a recognized Board/ University.

Process of Hiring for SSC Constable GD Positions
